Down Longley Lane to Palatine, turn left towards Parkway, cross road and head up path alongside Parkway until footbridge. Cross over Parkway onto Yewtree Lane, follow that until Sale Road. Turn right and head towards Sale, turn right at Wythenshawe Road and then right on Old Hall Road towards the M60. Cross two roundabouts onto Rifle Road, pass Jackson’s Boat, over the river and follow the path to Hardy Lane. Follow Hardy Lane over Barlow Moor onto Mauldeth Road West then right onto Nell Lane. Right onto Parkway then left onto Barlow Moor, right on Mersey (or Palatine if you want to do the segment). Turn left onto Moor End and you’re back at the pub.
