Right out of the pub down Didsbury Road, over Kingsway onto Wilmslow Road towards Didsbury village, turn left on Millgate Lane, turn right into Stenner woods, try not to slip off the wooden walkway into a swamp, turn left, bear left along the flood run-off to the river, turn left, under Kingsway, through the Galleon, over Wilmslow Road back onto the river, left at the pyramid back onto Didsbury road, blast up the hill back to the pub.
